Sales Executive - Gaming SAAS

We are Gfinity! An esports operator & technology company serving some of the largest brands on the planet - the Premier league, Formula1, Redbull, NVIDIA, Nintendo, and many more.  Over the past 10 years, we've pioneered the world's most powerful tournament platform able to serve hundreds of thousands of concurrent competitors across thousands of simultaneous events.  We are now using this foundational technology to create a fully self-serviced product for game studios and web publishers to leverage the power of competition to drive gamer retention, engagement, and value.

We are looking for a passionate gamer and sales expert, someone who is enthusiastic to drive our go to market plan, engage with gaming developers, research and create an action plan and have experience with generating new business.

You will play an active role in helping us craft the go-to-market strategy for the new product, owning the sales development process, and driving sales of the products into the game services market. You will work with game publishers, game developers and game services platforms involved in creating the technology infrastructure for games in the emerging space of Live Operations within the broader gaming eco-system. 

You ideally bring strong knowledge of the gaming infrastructure service and development cycle and both platform or SaaS sales processes. You probably have prior experience with an established SaaS company or a start-up, or game services/infrastructure companies, or a game development studio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market sizing, outreach, research and creation of the action plan
  • Owning and building a new sales development process for the Engage technology product
  • Facilitating & crafting with the teams the correct tools for sales and client engagement
  • Leading customer engagement & development for product demos and technology reviews for POC’s, Pilots or test cases 
  • Proactively looking into the competitor market and identify opportunity for growth and work with our Tech team in "developing" new features based on market knowledge and opportunity

Key Qualifications:

  • Good experience and exposure in the technology areas of game publishers/developers
  • Good understanding of the gaming space and great insight into the gaming publishing world, the concerns, issues they are experiencing so we can help solve for them
  • Ideally you have a strong understanding of technology, data and SaaS platforms and you have worked with development teams before
  • Understanding of monetization models, launch strategy and FTP in game industry
  • Comfortable working with sets of customer data that illustrates value
  • Strong analytical skills, data presentation skills, and creating customer presentations.
  • Experience working with and facilitating cross functional groups in operational processes.
